NEPA-Related Project Experience

Montana DEQ Abandoned Mines Environmental Assessments, MDEQ/AMRB

Performed sampling and analysis at more than 25 abandoned mine sites to define base-line site conditions as they related to proposed reclamation designs and collected data necessary to perform the environmental assessments. Authored NEPA environmental assessments for several of the sites under consideration to determine whether or not proposed reclamation alternatives would comply with the requirements of the NEPA, the Montana Environmental Policy Act (MEPA), and the NCP. Designed mitigating measures when alternatives did not comply with the applicable requirements and conducted CERCLA engineering evaluations/cost analyses on each alternative.
