Safety and Industrial Hygiene Services

At the beginning of each project, an internal safety audit is conducted. This includes a walk-through of the site, employee interviews, and a site-specific health and safety plan is developed for each project. Plans include details on site-specific hazards such as chemical and physical hazards. The plan also includes appropriate control measures for each hazard, such as personal protective equipment needed. The plans are reviewed with each applicable employee prior to commencing the project. One of the clients of Pioneer Technical Services, Inc. requires the development of Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). JSAs are forms prepared for each project which address site-specific hazards and appropriate control measures. JSAs are updated as needed and reviewed with all field personnel prior to beginning the task or project.

Pioneer Technical Services, Inc. complies with all federal and state safety regulations, such as OSHA and EPA. Pioneer Technical Service's safety manager not only conducts weekly safety meetings covering various topics, but also performs annual refresher training to all field personnel. Refresher training includes Hazwoper, CPR and first aid, and respiratory protection. Pioneer Technical Services, Inc. also has in-house safety programs such as trenching and excavating, confined space, and hearing conservation.
