Feasibility Study Services

The staff of Pioneer Technical Services, Inc. performs technology and alternative evaluations for uncontrolled hazardous waste sites with both organic and inorganic contaminants of concern. FSs are conducted by following the format and guidelines set forth by the NCP and CERCLA. In addition, streamlined studies are performed to meet the client's needs and site-specific conditions. The feasibility study process ensures that potential remedial technologies are given due consideration by first screening for effectiveness, implementability, and cost. Remedial alternatives are developed from the technology or group of technologies rating highest during the screening procedure. A detailed analysis of alternatives, including conceptual design and treatability testing, is then conducted, and a comparative analysis of the overall effectiveness is used to select the most appropriate remedial alternative.
